This is mainly for boxer owners or boxer lovers. I have my boxer on the raw meat diet and I really don’t like it my boyfriend does but i don’t. I just want to know what people think is the best dog food for a boxer. Thanks

I have a boxer who is about 8 months old. About a month ago he ate a bug that made his face swell up. We took him to the vet and they put him on a steroid. He was on that for a week. During that week he urinated uncontrollably. Also, he ate everything you put in front of him. Always licked the bowl clean. Before this he has never experienced any lack of appetite. However, since he has been off the steroid, he has become a picky eater. About a week after he was off the steroid he stopped eating… not completely… but he would eat a few bites and then be done (I feed him a mix of wet and dry food… science diet). He personality has never changed. He is alway hyper and loves to have fun. But he just doesn’t eat as much as he used to. I tried switching his food (because I thought it might have become stale and no good) but that just gave him the runs. Then, after he had the runs, I put him on a diet of boiled chicken oats and yogurt. He ate that fine and become better, but now that I’ve cycled him back to his normal food. He doesn’t eat. He doesn’t act sick, never has. I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want to make him a gourmet meal every night… but I don’t want him to go hungry. What do I do now?

My boxer, who will be 1 year old next weekend, usually has soft stool. Hard to pick up in the yard! There is nothing medically wrong with her, the vet has checked everything. I’m trying to find a food that will possibly help firm up her stool.
She was on a Evo but I felt that was too rich. She was then on Innova and I switched her to Healthwise for the same reason,I thought it might be too rich. These foods were all tried over a 7 month period with LONG switch-over periods.
I have limited places to shop here for good food and I want to try to stay between – for a 30-35 pound bag. I have limited resources here in town, only a feed store and training facility that sell good food. There is a PETCO also but I think they are way overpriced on everything they carry.
So what are some good brands that might help with this problem? I have also heard that adding a small amount of pumpkin or yogurt daily could help. Has anyone tried these remedies?
Thanks for your time!
