I have a 2 year old boxer / chow mix who sheds excessively and I would like to know the best food to feed him to attempt to minimize the shedding.

I have part wolf and German Shepard and I recently bought a furminator brush and she seems to be shedding like crazy. I currently feed her pedigree and some new natural holistic food I bought because she once had a seizure and the internet said that you should feed a dog that with seizures. Her hair is coming in terribly and I think I should change the food.
