Here are the 9 deadly foods a dog should never eat, some will only cause mild abdominal irritation while others could cause catastrophic health problems and even death! 

Onions: When a dog consumes a large amount of onions-poisons will build up in the digestive system, which could be fatal over time. Signs to look for when a dog has ingested onions are- urine that is dark in color, A tongue that is white in color and/or if the white part of the eye start turning a yellowish color.

Chocolate: The development of a dog heaving along with loose stools are likely to take place when they are fed an over amount of chocolate. Theo-bromine, identified in chocolate is the element that is lethal to a dogs heart and nervous system. This all takes place because a dogs liver and Kidneys won’t brake down Theo-bromine leading to the problems specified above!

Chicken and fish bones: These can cause digestive system lacerations. When these bones have been cooked -is when they are actually the most dangerous because they become brittle and are much more likely to splinter.

Currants: Kidney problems have been linked with currants-also known as jellies and jams made from red tarts and berries.

Mushrooms: The “death cap” is a mushroom specie that has been reported to be the most hazardous to dogs, often if specific kinds of mushrooms are digested they will cause neurological disorders and liver disease. Encourage vomiting if you find that your dog has swallowed any type of mushroom.

Yeast Dough: A dogs stomach could burst from the gases that gather in their digestive tract when raw dough is digested. To insure this will not take place only give a dog dough that has been adequately cooked, it is also important not to give him/her an excessive amount of bread. A good rule of thumb is to only give a dog 10% (at most) of a bread product as their total intake of food per day.

Cat Food: Most cat food has a higher calorie content and higher protein pecentage, an occasional bite of cat food probably wont hurt your dog. Too much protein in a dogs diet however, and the dog will most likely gain too much weight -and thus sustain a lack of nutrients they are missing from their own food.

Raw eggs:As argumentative as this food has been-there is evidence that an abumdant amount of raw eggs diminishes obsorption of biotin (vitamin B) in dogs. Salmonella is of concern as well, however a small amount of raw egges- now and again- has been known to assist a dogs hair coat.

Raisins: A toxin (unknown to the medical community) is released from raisins when a dog eats them. This unknown poison will end up affecting the dogs kidneys-if too many raisins are digested then the animal should get their stomach pumped.
