I have fed my English Bulldogs Eagle Pack holistic dog since they were pups. My local feed store doesn’t carry Eagle Pack any longer and told me to try Wellness. Can you tell me if this is as good as the Eagle Pack?

I have an 10 month old English Bulldog and for the past 4-5 months we have been feeding him Iams Smart Puppy Dry Food. The food we were feeding him when we first got him started making him sick and his poop was really watery but after we switched it do Iams, everything got much better.
Personally, I think it’s kinda boring for him to have to eat dry dog food every day all day so I try and give him little treats here and there (Beggin Bacon Strips, Doggie Biscuits.)

One day, I fed him a can of dog food and he loved it! He ate it so fast and was wanting more. My boyfriend doesn’t want me buying him canned food because he says it will make him sick, especially if he’s not used to it. The dog breeder also specified not to feed him food with a lot of corn ingredients.
My question is: Is there anyway to mix up his diet with dry dog food and canned dog food? If so, what kind of canned food? What other treats can I feed him so he won’t be all bored with his foods but that won’t harm him? Okay, I found a place that sells Canidae dog food by my house.. looks pretty good online, but is it more expensive that the Iams food?
