Is canned food better than dry food or worse?

My dog currently eats Beneful, its the only brand he has eaten and I want to change his food to something more healthy. He does throw up every once in a while due to him not being able to digest some of the ingredients properly. I read that Beneful, Pedigree, the more "well known" dog foods contain ingredients that isn’t necessarily healthy and that they are just to used as fillers. I was thinking about switching his food to Karma Organic or any of these on this website – NaturaPet. Any thoughts or other recommendations?

I have two mini schnauzers and looking to switch their food. I found out that Eukanuba has the chicken by product meal in it. Helloooo…yuck on those ingredients. Can someone recommend a dog food that the ingredients won’t scare me? I heard Nutro Max is a wholesome food. It says they use the meat that we would eat and no by product meal. Please help. This food disgusts me.
