My dog is a Corgi, Rhodesian Ridge Back mix, he has lots and lots of energy. Like me, he is an active athlete. I know after a good workout I need to replenish my body with vitamins, high protein, and clean carbs, but what about my dog? I’ve considered cooking meals for my dog, I’m just not sure I can afford it. I know dry dog food is not good for dogs. Would it be beneficial for me to mix the dog food in with the prepared "people food" to stretch it out? What are the best "people foods" for dogs?

…who has really bad gas. She’s still a very active 13 yr. old Rhodesian, with perfect body weight for her size (92 lbs.), but, OMG, I never need to trim my nose hair because she can burn it out. Any suggestions or ideas?

I am currently feeding my dog healthwise, makers of innova, and want to change his food. I have researched and considering either canidae, taste of the wild, chicken soup for the pet lovers soul, wellness, or innova.
I am looking for quality food with a reasonable price. If you are an owner of a ridgeback, what food(s) have worked for you?
Thank you in advance
