So what, do I listen to my vet or find another dog food?

I am looking to find a good dog food brand for my 1 year old beagle and 10 week old yorkie. My beagle tends to have a sensitive stomach so we recently switched him to science diet, which he loves. My yorkie is also on science diet and seems to be doing fine with it also. Out of curiosity I looked science diet up on the internet to see what rating it has with consumers. I was shocked to hear some of peoples responses as this is such a highly recommended dog food brand. Although I realize I probably should have done this research before I switched my dogs I am just curious for your opinions. Thank you so much for your time and help.
Can anyone recommend a better dog food for me in the same price bracket? I really can’t afford to pay anymore for dog food than we already do. I figure if I do have to stick with SD at least my dogs love is and do very well on it and I know it is better than grocery store brands.
